hi being non-binary doesn’t erase your lesbian identity and being a lesbian doesn’t erase your non-binary identity & talking about one part of you will not invalidate the other
super shoutout to each and every one of us in our community whose identities and experiences are seemingly conflicting to others at first glance! whether you’re an oriented aroace, or a bi lesbian, or any other combination of identities and experiences that are misconstrued and seemingly contradictory!
your identities and experiences are so wonderful and amazing and good! how easily understood your identity is to others does not dictate its validity or legitimacy! you are allowed to identify with labels in ways that make sense to you! regardless of how other people perceive you!
you are every bit as deserving of love, respect, and support for your identity as anyone else! sending lots of love to each and every single one of you!
shoutout to disabled lesbians !!
you are 1000% allowed to be both disabled and a lesbian !!
being disabled doesn’t make you any less of a lesbian, and being a lesbian doesn’t somehow mean you’re not disabled !!
you are wonderful and amazing and deserving of so much love and respect and support and absolutely 1000% should not be excluded from the disabled, lesbian, or wider LGBTQ+ community because you are both disabled and a lesbian !!
you are good and valid and excellent just as you are and i hope you have a lovely day !!
i love you if you’re ace and autistic!!
i love neurodivergent aces!!
bless if you’re also arospec too!!they’re beautiful in their own way and they need to be appreciated!!
shoutout to the nonbinary, agender, genderless folx dealing with social dysphoria from being and having our bodies gendered and misgendered by people even within our own communities.
it’s not your fault: you shouldn’t have to present in a certain way or change your body to have your experiences with gender respected and understood.
you don’t have to look or act or be read in any particular way for your identity and experiences to still be 1000% legitimate and real and valid.
you deserve so much understanding, respect, and support. and there’s nothing wrong with expressing that or communicating openly and setting boundaries.
you are wonderful and amazing and your identity is excellent and good. i hope each and every single one of you has a lovely day !! ^_^
Here’s a topic I don’t see the transgender community talking about often.
Detransitioning is okay.
Sometimes, you realize that how you felt wasn’t accurate to who you are.
Sometimes, you realize that you were forcing an image on yourself and are unhappy with it.
Sometimes, you realize your experiment with gender identity failed.
Sometimes, you realize that you can’t keep up with transitioning.
Sometimes, you realize transitioning may be too much for you.
Sometimes, you just feel the need to detransition.
Whatever your reasoning;
That’s okay.
Don’t listen to the people calling you a “transtrender,” a “fake,” an “attention-seeker.” Don’t listen to the people saying “you make the transgender community look bad.”
Humans change constantly. Change is inevitable. Sometimes what you feel changes. That’s natural. Sometimes it doesn’t. That’s natural too. It’s okay to have phases; that’s what our lives go by!
Phases are normal! You’re not SUPPOSED to be the same person from the moment you’re born until the moment you die; that would just be weird.
If you feel like you should/want to/have to detransition for whatever personal reason you have, then go for it.
The same goes for changing/choosing labels for yourself! Sometimes you think you’re straight but you’re actually lesbian. Sometimes you think you’re bisexual but you’re actually aroace. Sometimes you feel like your assigned gender but you realize that you’re the opposite. Sometimes you feel like you’re a man, but you realize you’re actually not even on the gender spectrum. Things like that happen and they’re okay.
Be who who you want to be. Discover yourself, over and over and over again. Give yourself the freedom to choose; to be.
lots of love to the users of it/its pronouns!!
there’s nothing inherently transphobic or bad or wrong for asking people to refer to you with it/its pronouns!!
you are not doing anything wrong for asking people to honor the ways in which you want to be referred to!!
you as an individual are not somehow responsible for the existence of transphobia or the dehumanization of trans people!!
you are allowed to use pronouns that make you feel most comfortable and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that!!
your choice of pronoun is wonderful and valid and good and we hope that each and every single one of you has a lovely day!!
To the “stereotypical” nonbinary people with nounself/neopronouns: you are amazing! It is fine to have a label that is obscure or does “not make sense” to others because it is your label and as long as it is good, there is no problem with how you identify because you know yourself very well it seems, which should be one of the main goals in life.
shoutout to all the lgbt+ furries out there! y’all are a wonderful, welcome part of our community, deserving of love, respect, and support! we hope each and every single one of you has a good day today! ^_^
sending lots of love to everyone out there who wants to come out but is really scared 💜💜💜💜💜💜
coming out can be super scary, and however you choose to act in response to that fear is valid and understandable 💜💜💜💜💜💜
know that no matter what happens, your identity and experiences are legitimate and okay 💜💜💜💜💜💜
you are wonderful and good as you are, and you are deserving of so much love, respect, and support 💜💜💜💜💜💜
